Awakening

From the first moment we met I knew you were special
So beautiful and sensual a poetic intellectual
The best of you is inside I want it to come out
And show a real man what a real woman’s about
Your smile can light up dark minds my heart finds
Joy in your countenance through these hard times
If Love blinds then I fear I’ve seen the light
When I stare into your eyes the feeling is a delight
I see right and at night you too are in my dreams
But the fight and black plight makes things not what they seem
I have to bring truth to the masses of the R.O.O.T.S.
We are Africans God’s people and I am living proof
So if we do become more than friends in the end
I hope we cause an awakening for the sleeping

Black Word

In the beginning was the Word and the Word was black
Like ink on paper an undeniable fact
That God created light while He was in darkness
And the Black Man in His image but the devil is heartless
So he deceived the world into thinking he was god
So bright and white a shining light to all
Who can’t see beyond the physical into black matter
Only the soulful people know love is all that matters
Like the message Christ lived by and hung on a tree
So that the blind could see and all slaves could be free
We are the children of the Sun black as Solomon
With locks in our hair strong and wooly like Samson
We were the one nation who built the tower of Babel
And the ancient pyramids even the Israelites who rebelled
Left secrets behind that will stand the test of time
All of mankind is enamored by our design
We are spiritually inclined because God is in us
He is the power behind everything that makes us winners
Sinners can’t stop us though they’ve tried through the ages
Killing our prophets and assassinating our sages
Pages of history can’t be rewritten we are the living Word
Bred to build , control, and mold our will into the world
Now you know the power we hold because black don’t crack
Melanin is God given and the devil hates that
The truth will come to light and God’s children will rise
Like the sun we are one consciousness higher than the skies

Cosmic Conspiracy

After reading Behold a Pale Horse I wrote this to convey my perspective of things as they seem....

There’s a cosmic conspiracy so deep in the world
They’re unseen a shadow regime in control of the globe
Probing minds using the media to reflect society
Through economic engineering they create anxiety
You don’t know what you’re doing but they know the outcome
Why do you think everything revolves around income?
In the slums they turn a blind eye to drug trafficking and guns
Weapons for crime production because criminals create funds
The jail industry will never slump but uphold political power
The Banking system makes you victims a population of sour
Citizens in ignorance of the evil elite
Throughout history they’ve always been discrete
In secret serving a purpose fulfilling a plan
Look beneath the surface to see if you can
The symbols and signals lies and ties
To corruption freedom destruction in good disguise
The skies have prophesied check the stars for clues
Aliens are among us and the government has proof
Underground facilities and outerspace stations
For a select few who know all classified information
They’ll start wars to gain more power over resources
Terrorism is just a façade none of them fear God
Gold is their currency they’re trying to buy up
Don’t sell your soul to them never let up
No elected official will solve all your problems
Obama represents change but lets be honest
It won’t happen over night the white stronghold is tight
And to end the black plight we have to see the light

Love is patient Love is kind
Love is deeper than the mind
Love is sublime there is no line
Love is what the heart defines
Unconditional tried and true
Love is not selfish it is not about you
Love is everything you do as a secret admirer
Love is more than words my action inspire her
Love is so transparent there's no point in concealing it
Love is the naked truth and I love revealing it
Love is pure and never self seeking
Love endures and is evil defeating
Strong but so weakening vulnerable but victorious
Love is all that matters in the end shining glorious

Sweet Love

Love is more than a four letter word written on paper
Nothing tangible can capture it turns solids to vapor
The hardest hearts melt when senses have felt
The overwhelming potency of the sweetest scent smelt
Like music to your ears calming all your fears
Wiping all the tears when you think no one cares
Providence hears all your deep desires
Love is eternal it never expires
And it can't be ignored even if you pretend
To be happy without it misery won't end
And the urge won't bend until you finally find it
And keep it in your life because that is what's behind it
Everlasting joy between a girl and a boy
Innocent and dangerous but worth every risk to enjoy
