No Excuses, Persevere!

What a Power Move that Elon Musk did to buy Twitter! He was a large stake holder and threatened to sell his shares if the board didn't let him buy the company (at a good price that benefits them),which would have made twitter lose money. Ownership is the key to wealth and that's why I'm investing in the stock market on several platforms (Stash, Robinhood, Acorn etc). I even have some investments in my cashapp! The world is literally in the palm of your hands with the way technology works! There's NO EXCUSE for failure or being broke in this day and age! Where there is a will there is always a way! You can succeed in every area of your life if you are willing to do what it takes and not make excuses! Work out, eat healthy, Pray more, Study, and Show Love! All of these things require actions not fluff! Check out this Short Film called Potluck, I was blessed to play a part in that's making its rounds into film festivals! 

Glad this project is making strides especially because believers are at the helm! The director cast me in a military ad prior to this which led her to use me in this project because of my performance then the lead actress in Potluck cast me in her church project coming out next month! On that note I am fully confident that God orders my steps and grants me success every step of the way! I truly walk by faith and never wait for opportunities to just appear instead I put myself out there to get them! Faith without works is dead so don't just pray about it, you have to be about it! Be a doer and do something about your desires! Be a doer of the Word and delight yourself in the Lord then He will give you the desires of your heart! Here's some Scripture to back up what I'm saying!

Delight Thyself Also in the Lord and He Shall Give Thee the Desires of Thine Heart (Psalm 37:4)

For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law who will be justified. Romans 2:13

But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing. 

James 1:25

For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead.

James 2:26

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10

Covid Relief, God Belief, Without Remorse, The Underground Railroad, The Conjuring 3, By Days End

COVID-19 came and went and at first it was a shock but my faith was never shook. I just never thought that it would happen to me or my family! God healed my wife and I and got us through the quarentine period. I missed some filming opportunities but still had more work available right after my negative test result! The BLOOD OF JESUS is stronger than any virus or vaccine! 

We prayed, took communion, and anointed ourselves with oil just like the Scriptures say to do. 

Surely He has borne our griefs

And carried our sorrows;

Yet we esteemed Him stricken,

Smitten by God, and afflicted.

But He was wounded for our transgressions,

He was bruised for our iniquities;

The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,

And by His stripes we are healed.

(Isaiah 53:4-5)

And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”

Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you."

Truly my faith has made me whole and I am grateful to God for His faithfulness! We lacked nothing during quarentine and enjoyed a lot of quality family time afterwards!

WE ARE FAMILY BLESSED TO BE ALIVE AND HEALTHY!!!!!

It was great fishing with Christopher "Skip" Williams aka Mr. FISH on his boat! We met on the set of RESPECT (in theaters August 13th) and connected with our trumpet playing! God brought us together and it was a blessing indeed!

This was filmed in Washington DC's central station which is a few blocks from where my younger brother works at CNN (recently promoted to Senior Writer/Producer!). I'm glad for him and God's favor in his life even though we don't see eye to eye on everthing politically or otherwise lol. 100 years ago a flourishing Black Community was burned down in Tulsa, Oklahoma and my brother made the ad for their story on CNN. https://www.cnn.com/shows/dreamland-cnn-films

DMX, Stocks, and Streaming Services

This year has been rife with ups and downs left and right! As a follower of Christ I am confident that His return is imminent therefore I rojoice even in the passing of one of the most influencial Rap Artists in my lifetime DMX! His riveting flow and remarkable heart for GOD will always be remembered. I even know his unreleased underground stuff like Born Loser that was so deep from a place of depression yet his legacy will always be as the Grand Champ! I was more than a fan of his music and movies growing up and I bought his book E.A.R.L. (Ever Always Real Life) and entered rap battles on his Def Jam website/chatroom. It was heated but my fire burned out the competition: "keep disrespecting me and I'll air out your laundry/ nothing you do harms me I murder cowards calmly." 

After college I included a portriate drawing I made of DMX in my book Deeper Than Rhymes next to a poem titled God's MC. 

The impact he had on my life will never die because of the love he showed for Jesus Christ and how unashamed he was about it despite his sinful struggles. I pray that he is finally at peace with the Lord forever in Heaven.

DMX HAD A POWERFUL PRAYER IN HIS ALBUMS AND I IMMITATED HIS VOICE FOR GOD IN MY SPOKEN WORD ALBUM SOULFUL WORDS! CHECK OUT THE PIECE TITLED CONVERSATION WITH GOD:

Truly we are the children of Israel scattered accross the world from the tribe of JUDAH through West Africa and into America! Prosperity is our portion and a recompense is coming for all the historic injustices done against people of color. "Behold, I will raise them out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will return your recompence upon your own head." (Joel 3:7)

Also I'm in an upcoming film on Amazon Prime called Without Remorse with Michael B Jordan! I was paid SAG background rates for those days but that doesn't include residuals so my investments in streaming services will reap more revenue in the long-run! I have other investments through a website called we-funder (Boaz Bikes, Black Sands, Legion M) geared toward ownership and a steady increase in revenue as these companies grow! There's always risks involved but no fortune is made without taking a chance!

All in all I am blessed and covered by the Blood of Jesus! Yahweh is my one true Master therefore I am an hier with Christ as the Sons of God rise up! 

"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
