2020 Hindsight 2021 Soul Safety

Wow 2020 was A LOT to say the least and 2021 is just as trying already! All I can do is Praise God for His Covering over me and my family! We have never lacked and in fact 2020 was bigger financially for me than the previous year! Here are a few highlights: 

I was Blessed to be on a Historic Bio Pic Project in January 2020 but I can't say more than that just check out an interview by a good friend and fellow believer Rob Wood: 

The release date has been pushed to August 2021 so be on the look out!!!

Also in 2020, as the pandemic hit, everything slowed down but I was able to capitalize on Voice Over Work and this past Christmas a Project featuring my Voice Premiered:

Speaking of Voice Over Premier on Christmas Day Jaimie Foxx made History as the lead Voice Actor for SOUL that streamed on Disney plus with PHENOMENAL NUMBERS (1.7 billion streams so far)! I am encouraged to continue striving as a Voice Actor and on that note check out SOULFUL WORDS! All of which can be read in my Poetry Book: Deeper Than Rhymes. Here are some excerpts:

Disney Plus also recently premiered a movie I was in called SAFETY! Although I am not on the credits it was great playing as part of the coaching staff in a true story based on the life of former Clemson University safety Ray McElrathby. My big homie Robert Crayton actually had a few lines and can be seen with me in the trailer! Here are a few snapshots from the film:

My Wife and I recently celebrated our 4 year anniversary and I bought a photo album of our wedding from the photograher! I thank God for our family! We've made the best of this Pandemic by the grace of God and our children are blessed indeed!

Black Panther, Gun Violence, and Death

Finally the moment we all have been waiting for in the History of Black Cinema! A black super hero movie that wasn't corny or comedic but compelling and commanding! Since Captain America Civil War where Black Panther made his debue I was convinced that Marvel studios would give him his own movie! As an avid comic book fan and cartoon fanatic I remember the early morning cartoons where Stan Lee explained his creations! Black Panther fought and defeated the Fantastic Four in the cartoons and comic books! An African King from the superior hidden kingdom of Wakanda! Watching the film adaptation of such a historic figure in Marvel Comics was very satisfying and surreal! I was on the set of Wakanda last year as they were filming some scenes between King T'Challa and Nakia! Being part of the elaborate background of townspeople was a blessing even though they didn't use my footage (or the camera did pan to where I was positioned). I remember watching Ryan Coogler squat and stare as everyone was getting in position and I saw the drive in his eyes. Lupita had a thick fancy coat on, as did Chadwick, since the weather was cold and we all had to act like it was a warm climate once the cameras started rolling. We all glanced at each other and everyone could feel the fire that was about to be lit! I enjoyed the movie and the storyline with the tough subject matter of anger from abandonment. The division among the diaspora derives from lost tribes and villages. A broken heritage leaves little humanity and fosters vengeance in its wake. It was well written and tied together and I especially appreciated that this Black Star Studded film had no use of the N-Word! I hope we can continue to see each other as royal brothers and sisters and end the poison caused by evil colonizers!

Sadly there has been a lot of death this month. Mass shootings keep happening in America. Until more restrictions are put in place the violence will continue. Jesus said "all those who live by the sword will die by the sword." (Matthew 26:52)

Actor Reg E. Cathey passed away earlier this month. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with him (as his stand-in) years ago on the set of Banshee. He was a cool cat very candid and energetic. I don't remember specifically what we talked about but it was something around family and polotics. He made me smile and laugh. God rest his soul.

I loved the character he played on House of Cards and can't wait to see his work in Marvel's Luke Cage season 2!

The Greatest Evangelist of the 20th Century Billy Graham also passed away this month. His work spans generations and will continue to spread with the legacy he left behind. I visited the Billy Graham Library a few years ago and beheld the historic influence that man of God had. He preached the message of Christ without pregudice or politics! God Bless you Billy Graham!

Jesus Christ is all that matters! Knowing him everyday is the meaning of life! He is the only "Way, truth, and life!" (John 14:6)

My Dream and Legacy is of His Love.

Faith and Patience

We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised. (Hebrews 6:12)

For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay. (Habakkuk 2:3)


Life can be tiring. Sometimes it feels like there's no progress. In moments like this all you need is faith and patience. In due time all things will come to pass.

This is Prophetic. Just watch and be prepared. (I'm the guy in the hat at the 2:47 mark)

Another revelation but of how the first Christian television network came to be! (I'm at the 10 minute mark reading the bible standing wearing a hat behind young Pat)

What does all this mean? Well the time is coming for a great revival and revelation! God is still doing wonders in my life and yours! I pray that you are touched.
