I am now a Movie Star though you won't see me in the trailer or my name in the credits I do appear during the duration of 'Blood Done Sign My Name'. Look out for me wearing a curly Afro lol. Based on a true story that took place in North Carolina during the 1970's this meager film captures the racial tension of a racist town too stubborn to change. It reminds me of how things are right now for Obama in the White House but still the Black presence is priceless, precious, and will persevere. This is Black History Month and in the money making festivities of the CIAA let us acknowledge the Brotherhood we share to the whole world.
Brotherhood Brigade
Brotherhood Brigade we impossible to fade
From Africa to slaves what America made
Is it’s own nightmare but I have a dream
Of making the fight fair unlike Martin Luther King
Human Beings don’t need a race to start a movement
Just stop standing in place and go for self improvement
Because Peace died with him all that’s left is war
And among black people death is more
Prevalent than it’s ever been
The Devil meant us to never win
But no matter what we can’t give up
God’s people must in the end ascend
It’s no surprise our rise is irrelevant
Because our demise was designed by the government
Still black power remains from our ancestor’s remains
Those that reigned from where we came
And those who came here enchained
We are all the same related in pain
It’s time to reclaim the world again
And end the disdain
