I would be remissed if I failed to mention my wife and kids on this decade plus creative journey! Although it didn't start with them I'm glad they came along and are now an integral part of my life! Praise God for a chance during this Christmas season to share my story with the world on Spectrum News!

This is a Wonderful Testimony because God orchestrated it all since last year when I signed with a new agent YJB Talent! Dozens of auditions later and one late night when I had to shoot one by myself everything worked out by God's grace! I am thankful for my Hard Working wife Alisha who looks after our children when I'm away on set. I also thank God for my Mother's prayers and constant encouragement! My family is my support system and life line that keeps me going! My Greatest Joy is sharing these opportunities with my Wife and kids! They got a chance to do a promotional video that paid well for a non-profit assistance program for parents! That and we did a paid couple's video shoot for a fancy hotel in Charleston SC! Details for all of these will be released soon....
As I'm typing this we have another couple's shoot lined up and I have landed 3 parts in 3 seperate film projects shooting soon! This is a season of blessings upon blessings! Thank You Jesus for ordering my steps and working out the schedule to do all these things! It's not easy but this is what I live for!

Utilizing all the giftings God has graced me with for His glory! I really do this! God's gifts are irrevocable (Romans 11: 29) and I'm not playing with mine! It's not a game or joke God's grace is my only hope! His blessings keep overflowing not just on me but my family as well! My wife got to be in a surprise gameshow competition with Wayne Brady!

COVID-19 came and went and at first it was a shock but my faith was never shook. I just never thought that it would happen to me or my family! God healed my wife and I and got us through the quarentine period. I missed some filming opportunities but still had more work available right after my negative test result! The BLOOD OF JESUS is stronger than any virus or vaccine!
We prayed, took communion, and anointed ourselves with oil just like the Scriptures say to do.
Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried oursorrows;
Yet weesteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.

Truly my faith has made me whole and I am grateful to God for His faithfulness! We lacked nothing during quarentine and enjoyed a lot of quality family time afterwards!

It was great fishing with Christopher "Skip" Williams aka Mr. FISH on his boat! We met on the set of RESPECT (in theaters August 13th) and connected with our trumpet playing! God brought us together and it was a blessing indeed!

This year has been rife with ups and downs left and right! As a follower of Christ I am confident that His return is imminent therefore I rojoice even in the passing of one of the most influencial Rap Artists in my lifetime DMX! His riveting flow and remarkable heart for GOD will always be remembered. I even know his unreleased underground stuff like Born Loser that was so deep from a place of depression yet his legacy will always be as the Grand Champ! I was more than a fan of his music and movies growing up and I bought his book E.A.R.L. (Ever Always Real Life) and entered rap battles on his Def Jam website/chatroom. It was heated but my fire burned out the competition: "keep disrespecting me and I'll air out your laundry/ nothing you do harms me I murder cowards calmly."
After college I included a portriate drawing I made of DMX in my book Deeper Than Rhymes next to a poem titled God's MC.
The impact he had on my life will never die because of the love he showed for Jesus Christ and how unashamed he was about it despite his sinful struggles. I pray that he is finally at peace with the Lord forever in Heaven.
DMX HAD A POWERFUL PRAYER IN HIS ALBUMS AND I IMMITATED HIS VOICE FOR GOD IN MY SPOKEN WORD ALBUM SOULFUL WORDS! CHECK OUT THE PIECE TITLED CONVERSATION WITH GOD:

Also I'm in an upcoming film on Amazon Prime called Without Remorse with Michael B Jordan! I was paid SAG background rates for those days but that doesn't include residuals so my investments in streaming services will reap more revenue in the long-run! I have other investments through a website called we-funder (Boaz Bikes, Black Sands, Legion M) geared toward ownership and a steady increase in revenue as these companies grow! There's always risks involved but no fortune is made without taking a chance!
All in all I am blessed and covered by the Blood of Jesus! Yahweh is my one true Master therefore I am an hier with Christ as the Sons of God rise up!

Wow 2020 was A LOT to say the least and 2021 is just as trying already! All I can do is Praise God for His Covering over me and my family! We have never lacked and in fact 2020 was bigger financially for me than the previous year! Here are a few highlights:

Although I am not on the credits it was great playing as part of the coaching staff in a true story based on the life of former Clemson University safety Ray McElrathby.
