God's M.C.

I am blessed and unashamed of the many talents God has endowed me with. This is my gift to the world enjoy!

God's M.C.

God's Son is my mannerism I learned from catechism
That Jesus Christ is risen from this sinful prison
Bless the dead curse the living
Love your foes and keep forgiving
To die is why we living I'm not flowing I'm spitting
Captivating and hard hitting my life a sacrifice
If I could I'd do it twice pour out my soul when I write
So you know I'm twice as nice better than the average rapper
Put your hands together be a clapper
Against life but for the here after
I'm after the first and the last the present is my past
I am the future here at last God is here so don't ask
Who's underneath the mask? Who's holding heat and packed?
I'm too real I don't act at any time I can blast
Hard Verbal blows that take the ground from underneath ya
You can run or hide behind a front however I will reach ya
God I seek ya through thick and thin
Have mercy on me though I live in sin

Love and Hate (Happy 50th Nigerian Independence Day)

Today marks the 50th year of Nigeria's independence and I'm am distraught with feelings of Love and Hate. Living in the diaspora is depressing when my people are struggling worse than I am just to survive. My heart goes out to them and I pray things change for the better sooner than later. Everything I do is for the betterment of my homeland and all her children which includes all humanity. I have nothing but love for my people but I hate their nature. That said this piece speaks for itself.

Love and Hate

There is a thin line I walk between love and hate
And I'm walking it everyday trying to keep it taped
Because if it tears then no one will be spared
I'll go off on everyone like I never cared
I've been used and abused but made no excuse
I give freely so often that they've forgotten the dues
At least pay me some respect I am the child of neglect
The caretaker with the whole world on my shoulder and neck
I demand my respect if nothing else
If you can't give me that then do it yourself
Don't look to me for help I don't owe nobody nothing
But every time I turn around my people want something
Take, take, take, just take my life
The whole world is wrong and I can't make it right!

On the bright side here is one of my favorite artworks that will be featured at an upcoming exhibit this winter in Florida. I call it "King T".

I am proud to say the Art Exhibit will be held by a well respected and world renowned Nigerian Professional Artist named Sir Mbonu Christopher Emerem who has invited me to show three of my pieces. Though our Motherland has a long way to go her people are making strides....

George W.

On this 47th anniversary to MLK's I have a dream speech, 5 years after Katrina, and almost 9 years since 9/11 I feel compelled to name one person to blame for the way things are today. Not to dwell on the past but we have to address the cause of all this mess before we can move on. My words are not for the faint of heart or weak minded so if you can't handle the truth then don't bother reading any further.

George W.

George W Bush what a disgrace
not only to your country but your whole race
the people who elected you and the powers that be
skull and bones and high degrees of secret society
the world can see how far you've taken us into a deep rut
time and time again you have failed us
now we're no longer ahead basically begging for bread
even the rich feel poor our economy is dead
instead of a surplus we have tremendous debt
and the soldiers aren't enough for the war that's coming next
too much death in your riegn everyone felt the pain
from 9/11 to Katrina yes you are the one to blame
because it all happened on your watch until the clock stops
Good riddens a new begining with Obama Barack
If he could start yesterday the world would be better
You will go down in history as the worst president ever!!

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day God and thank you for filling in where our earthly father's fall short. Mine was there during my early years but left after I turned 12. A lot of African American youths lack a father in the home and there are many problems that stem from that. Still I have grown from my struggles and have reconciled with my father in hopes that he will one day come to grips with his faults. Here is a Short Film which speaks vollumes about growing up fatherless in America. Watch, enjoy, and leave a comment.

On a much happier note today is the one year anniversary of my book release!!!!
Here is all the info about yours truly:

Toochukwu T.C. Anyachonkeya was born in Lagos, Nigeria on August 9, 1983. A few years later his family moved to America and he grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina. The firstborn of four he was self taught in visual arts and became poetically inclined through the influence of Hip Hop. It was these arts that kept him from going under during the heartache of his youth and pains of the past. The resounding strength in his work is captivating and contagious. They are to help those who feel defeated become more than conquerors. T.C. is a graduate of North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC where he received a B.A. in Art. He is in the Marine Reserves and currently pursuing a career in Acting and Modeling.

USMC

Once a Marine always a Marine. I have had the honor of serving my country up till this new age and beyond. The Warrior spirit that dwells in me will always show and grow from everything I learned in the military. This goes out to all my fellow servicemen who know what it means to sacrifice. Happy Memorial Day!

USMC

USMC stands for you signed my contract

So I’ve been called to go and make contact

With the enemy although not on the frontlines

I’ll be fighting indirectly helping from behind

Filling spots of Admin Marines that were deployed

Over seas fighting for the free our lives decoyed

Still a young boy but I’m living like a man

Burdened so much to see a better day if I can

Called by Uncle Sam on what I thought would be a stepping stone

For my future degree and prestige building my own home

I am only guaranteed a tomb and a going away ceremony

After death whom I am bound to in holy matrimony

The brave is lonely here there is nothing for me

I could have millions of dollars but still live poorly

My soul hurts sorely for its one soul mate

Which in death will be our first and last date

Such is my fate in this life that I hate

Serving God, Country, and Core with no choice my mistake

To live and wait for what is rightfully due to me

A wife pure as a baby smiling beautifully

Misery no immunity so I haven’t touched her yet

On the bright side in a few years I’ll be a Marine vet

So I have no regrets despite joy’s neglect

As I have lived I will die with honor and respect
