2017 Count it all Joy!

2017 has been a monumental year indeed! I got married, transferred my job, got a new job with benefits, travelled and worked more as an Actor, did voice-over work for the Lord, wrote drama skits for the church, and paid my car note off! I still have student loans, bills, and debt just like everybody else but I'm grateful for everything 2017 has been! There has been ups and downs, life and death, losses and gains but I have learned to count it all joy!
"My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing." (James 1:2-4)

Amidst all the highlights of 2017 there are little unforgettable moments that stand out too. Being on different production sets has opened my eyes to how God works in the lives of others. It was encouraging to hear people's testimonies of how their lives turned around by God's grace through the Blood of Jesus! One middle-aged man was healed from a terminal illness and doors began to open for his Acting career after he prayed. Another young man commended me for inspiring him years ago when I spoke about following your dreams. He kept my comp card and shook my hand when we met again years later on set. We talked extensively and I was amazed how God turned his life around from drug addiction to college graduation. Jesus saves and that's not a cliche, it's for real. In all my down moments He knows how to lift up my head and encourage my soul. Nothing we do for Him is a waste. I'm just glad to know that lives are being touched and inspired and it is a profound blessing and privilege to be used by Him!

I am most grateful for my lovely wife Alisha who continues to be such a wonderful help meet. Married life is so surreal, I am truly blessed! Here are some photos of all the happenings throughout this Amazing year!

There's not enough space to convey all the joy I have in my heart for all that took place in 2017! Some of the events are private and confidential and won't be released until 2018! I am happy to say that my Mother got remarried in Nigeria and a number of our church friends in America got married too! This has truly been a Year to remember and the joy will overflow into the New Year! Happy New Year Everybody! 2018 will be Holy Spirit Filled!

ON TURN

"For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another."
Psalm 75:6-7

Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand.
(The seven lamps[a] represent the eyes of the Lord that search all around the world.)
