Marvelous Thanks!

Every season of life should be filled with gratitude and appreciation. In this season I am more thankful than ever for all God has done and is doing, knowing that the best is yet to come! Prayer works and that is the greatest testimony of my life but God wants us to still be grateful even when we don't get what we want or if things don't happen how we want them to. Life is what you make of it and "godliness with contentment is great gain" (1Timothy 6:6)!

No matter the circumstance God wants us to have faith and hope for the better! Positive thinking and action bring forth the best results. It's not easy I know but giving up is never an option for winners!

One of my greatest inspirations in life comes from Marvel Comics and this month the man who created all the fantastic stories and dynamic characters passed away. Stan Lee showed me how to use my imagination as a child watching X-men, Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, and Iron-Man! Because of him I have so many Comic Books and Action Figures and still believe in my heart that I am a Super Hero! It was a DREAM COME TRUE to be featured in Iron-Man 3 with speaking lines, facial recognition, and my name in the credits! God knows the impact Stan Lee has had on millions of people and will continue to have with such a rivetting legacy! "With Great Power Comes Great Responcibility!" -Spiderman

There has been so much celebration in my family in this season! My brother O.C. got married, my wife had two baby showers for our upcoming twins, and my Uncle came from Nigeria to enjoy it all!

God is faithful and He knows our heart's desire to be successful in life for His glory!

For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry." (Hebrews 10: 35-37)

Things may seem bleak right now in America with Firestorms and Floods, Disasters and Debauchery, Political upraor and Social injustice but THERE IS STILL HOPE! This is an opportunity to come together and encourage one another the best way we can. We are all connected whether we like it or not and we all need each other. Love is the only answer to all of life's problems not hate. Good will win in the end not evil. I pray that my legacy will be a blessing to everyone reading this blog. Joy in the Wilderness

There is a joy that only comes from knowing God. Even in the wildernesses of life that joy never goes away. A joy unspeakable has come into my life in the midst of struggle. Listen to this recent voice-over production:

Sowing And Reaping Greatness!

All it takes is a mustard seed. Every little bit counts! The work I've put in all these years are finally bearing fruit and will continue to as I keep walking by faith!

This year an independant movie I starred in recieved recognition and acceptance into the Africa Movie Academy Awards! The work I did years ago made the official selection! Check out the posters:

Also check out this short film poster that was shot and primiered this year by some young students from the University of South Carolina! It was a pleasure playing a part in this and it's now making film festivals around the country! I look forward to Greatness for Connestee Falls!

All things Work together

Last month I gave an encouraging word at Love and Joy Christian Center, about how God makes all things work together. It was heartfelt and I got a little tearful. Listen and be Blessed. 

All Things Work Together

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28

NOW IS THE TIME TO PRAY, REPENT, AND BELIEVE

"Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out. And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself." (John 12: 31-32)

Jesus Christ has been lifted up by dying on the cross and rising from the dead. Now is the time to believe in His ressurection power and recieve salvation! The prince of this world has been driven out by the sacrifice of Christ on the cross! We are delivered from all the powers of sin and death through the Blood of Jesus! Satan is defeated and when Jesus returns again, soon, to judge the world, all the children of God will rise into eternal paradise with our Lord and Savior! 

Now is the time to PRAY, REPENT, FORGIVE, LOVE, and HAVE FAITH! Deception and distractions are becoming more prevelant in these last days! The media is normalizing debauchery and decieving the masses with fake news and sinful entertainment. God's word still stands and Jesus is our only hope! Thank God for the miracles still happening in the lives of believers around the world!

Prayer is still powerful and I am still praying for a breakthrough in my life to Supernatural Success! My Joy is in the Lord and being used for His glory is the greatest honor. Jesus please take me to an unprescedented level of superstardom as an Actor and Model for you in this world! Grant me the desires of my heart for more leading and speaking rolls in TV shows, short films, and Blockbuster Movies! By faith I recieve these things and operate in them for the glory of God! Amen.

Black Panther, Gun Violence, and Death

Finally the moment we all have been waiting for in the History of Black Cinema! A black super hero movie that wasn't corny or comedic but compelling and commanding! Since Captain America Civil War where Black Panther made his debue I was convinced that Marvel studios would give him his own movie! As an avid comic book fan and cartoon fanatic I remember the early morning cartoons where Stan Lee explained his creations! Black Panther fought and defeated the Fantastic Four in the cartoons and comic books! An African King from the superior hidden kingdom of Wakanda! Watching the film adaptation of such a historic figure in Marvel Comics was very satisfying and surreal! I was on the set of Wakanda last year as they were filming some scenes between King T'Challa and Nakia! Being part of the elaborate background of townspeople was a blessing even though they didn't use my footage (or the camera did pan to where I was positioned). I remember watching Ryan Coogler squat and stare as everyone was getting in position and I saw the drive in his eyes. Lupita had a thick fancy coat on, as did Chadwick, since the weather was cold and we all had to act like it was a warm climate once the cameras started rolling. We all glanced at each other and everyone could feel the fire that was about to be lit! I enjoyed the movie and the storyline with the tough subject matter of anger from abandonment. The division among the diaspora derives from lost tribes and villages. A broken heritage leaves little humanity and fosters vengeance in its wake. It was well written and tied together and I especially appreciated that this Black Star Studded film had no use of the N-Word! I hope we can continue to see each other as royal brothers and sisters and end the poison caused by evil colonizers!

Sadly there has been a lot of death this month. Mass shootings keep happening in America. Until more restrictions are put in place the violence will continue. Jesus said "all those who live by the sword will die by the sword." (Matthew 26:52)

Actor Reg E. Cathey passed away earlier this month. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with him (as his stand-in) years ago on the set of Banshee. He was a cool cat very candid and energetic. I don't remember specifically what we talked about but it was something around family and polotics. He made me smile and laugh. God rest his soul.

I loved the character he played on House of Cards and can't wait to see his work in Marvel's Luke Cage season 2!

The Greatest Evangelist of the 20th Century Billy Graham also passed away this month. His work spans generations and will continue to spread with the legacy he left behind. I visited the Billy Graham Library a few years ago and beheld the historic influence that man of God had. He preached the message of Christ without pregudice or politics! God Bless you Billy Graham!

Jesus Christ is all that matters! Knowing him everyday is the meaning of life! He is the only "Way, truth, and life!" (John 14:6)
